Product Overview
1. Pre-Measured Loops
- Designed for the surgeon who prefers pre-measured chordal loops
- Available in loop lengths 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 24mm
2. One double armed papillary suture with attached PTFE pledget and one independent PTFE pledget included.
3. 2-0 USP ePTFE suture
(similar to CV-4)

- Designed for the surgeon who prefers to customize each loop length
- Three independent double-armed sutures (no loops or pre-tied knots)

1. CHORD-X CHORDAL SIZER FOR SIZING AND LOOP SELECTION

We describe the successful initial experience with pre-measured chordal loops. These chordal loops can be used to correct prolapse at any site of the mitral valve. Available in a variety of sizes, these loops facilitate mitral valve repair while reducing operative time.1
Clinical Evidence
Demonstrated Results with Chord-X Premeasured Loops1
In an observational, retrospective review of early clinical experience, 17 patients were successfully treated with Chord-X.
- On intraoperative echocardiogram, 16 patients had trivial or no mitral regurgitation, and 1 patient had mild mitral regurgitation.
- Predischarge echocardiograms confirmed trivial or no mitral regurgitation in 16 patients, while the patient with mild mitral regurgitation on intraoperative echocardiogram had mild to moderate mitral regurgitation.
